Un portale nuovo per conoscere, raccontare e accompagnare le migrazioni
La Fondazione CSER è felice di comunicare che da lunedì 26 aprile 2021 è online il nuovo sito web, un “luogo” per incontrare il fenomeno della mobilità umana con nuove e stimolanti occasioni di approfondimento.
Il visitatore già dalla pagina iniziale potrà addentrarsi nella prestigiosa sede storica del Centro Studi. Una panoramica sintetica dei “numeri delle migrazioni” nel mondo, in Europa- Africa e in Italia sono subito a disposizione per inquadrare la portata del tema. Una prima novità sta nella sezione “Capire le migrazioni”, all’interno della pagina Progetti/Eventi/News.
Fra le altre novità e attività segnaliamo la sezione Biblioteca Digitale, dove si potrà trovare la collana di Studi Emigrazione in formato digitale gratuitamente disponibile dal n. 1 del 1964 al n. 200 del 2015. Nella pagina INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF MIGRATION STUDIES troverete, invece, i numeri dal 2016 ad oggi, di cui potrete leggere sommario ed indice in forma gratuita oppure, se interessati agli articoli, procedere all’acquisto dalla pagina “Abbonamenti e Acquisti”, sia in cartaceo che in .pdf.
Ulteriore novità, sviluppatasi proprio durante la recente pandemia, la pagina VIDEO dove troverete i video del progetto WIP e via via i nuovi video che i giovani autori protagonisti dei nuovi progetti MYVyou e Draw my life stanno creando, per raccontarci le migrazioni dal punto di vista di chi le vive direttamente sulla propria pelle e con il proprio punto di vista.
La sfida raccolta dalla Fondazione è raccolta complessivamente nel rapporto di ricerca #UnasolaCasa. L’umanità alla prova del Covid-19. Il primo di una serie di report annuali che racconteranno le migrazioni soprattutto nell’area Europa Africa e le attività perseguite dal SIMN Europe-Africa, di cui la Fondazione è supporto scientifico.

A new portal to know, tell and accompany migrations
The CSER Foundation is pleased to announce that from Monday 26th April 2021 the new website is online, a “place” to meet the phenomenon of human mobility with new and stimulating opportunities for in-depth analysis.
Already from the initial page the visitor will be able to enter the prestigious historical seat of the Study Centre. A synthetic overview of the “migration numbers” in the world, in Europe-Africa and in Italy are immediately available to frame the scope of the theme. A first novelty is the section “Understanding migrations“, inside the page Projects/Events/News.
Among the other novelties and activities, we point out the Digital Library section, where you can find the series of Emigration Studies in digital format freely available from n. 1 of 1964 to n. 200 of 2015. In the page INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF MIGRATION STUDIES you will find the issues from 2016 to date, of which you can read the summary and the index for free or, if you are interested in the articles, you can purchase them from the page “Subscriptions and Purchases“, both in paper and in .pdf.
Another novelty, developed during the recent pandemic, is the VIDEO page where you will find the videos of the WIP project and the new videos that the young authors of the new MYVyou and Draw my life projects are creating, to tell us about migration from the point of view of those who live it directly on their skin and with their own point of view.
The challenge taken up by the Foundation is collated in the research report #UnasolaCasa (OneHomeOnly). Humanity to the test of Covid-19. It is the first of a series of annual reports that will tell about migration, especially in the Europe-Africa area, and the activities pursued by SIMN Europe-Africa, of which the Foundation is scientific support.
